February 2000- March 2002
Well our next continental adventure begins....Wayne arrived in Seoul, S. Korea at
U.S.F.K @ the end of February, and the kids and Kym stayed in Virginia to finish
school, get the dogs settled, pack household and venture off. It was a tough 6
months being seperated from hubbie and daddy.. First we had to travel up to
Boston for Kirsten's wedding! Which with that Wayne surprised us all and traveled
to Boston to attend the wedding and escort us back to Seoul. We also were
surprised by Grandma and Grandpa Woollard who came all the way from
California to see their baby boy off. We had a great time with them in Boston for a
few days before we ventured up to New Hampshire for Kirsten's wedding...
After the wedding we had to drive down to Baltimore to ship the family van and we
stayed at a hotel in Washington DC...we flew out June 21st..and after a LONG
LONG flight. via Chicago O'Hare and Narita, Japan..we finally arrived at Kimpo
airport. I was sooo tired. I thought the kids would be bored,,but the boys had a whole
row to themselves of 5 seats so they stretched out and slept..Wayne had the
window, Taylor had the middle..and I had the aisle. Taylor and Wayne slept the
entire way...of course Mom didnt... we finally arrived at Kimpo airport. .I didnt even
notice my surroundings, luckily Wayne was now a pro at it and took charge, got us
through customs..got us a taxi...and off we went..
We had about an hr ride to our new home..which I was very nervous about because
Wayne had to pick it out prior to us coming over..Well I was amazed it is
awesome..and really big!! Of course I dove into bed after getting the kids
settled...daddy had made all the beds so we just flopped!
